Who are we?
We are a small home business based in Sydney, hoping to build a brand that emits a positive and comfortable feel for people to personalise and build the perfect gift for their loved ones. We strive for excellent customer service and quick, but careful, production to provide the top of the market quality gifts that home equipment can buy.
All gifts are attentively handcrafted by us and made to order to provide a personalised and enjoyable relationship with our customers.
How did CUSTID come about?
We have always been ambitious in the wanting to do something different. We have goals to be able to travel the world and experience new things, and we knew that the likelihood of this being possible, without being held back by the other responsibilities of our near adulthood, was low and the only way to achieve this was take it upon ourselves to do something about it.
We went about developing multiple ideas over many months before properly understanding what exactly we wanted to do and what we wanted to achieve. We came to the realisation that we can not produce a product that we would not buy. In order to create the perfect product, it needed to be something that we understood and related to. Our personal struggle to find sentimental gifts that could be personalised to our relationship was extremely hard to find, especially locally. We realised this gap in the local market and thought this would not only be a great business idea, but also help others that struggle with this same issue.
From what seemed like only a rough plan of wanting to start something a couple of months ago, to seeing our brand come to life and interacting with real customers, was an achievement that we will treasure forever.
What Makes Us Different?
Here at Custid we not only strive to create a great product but we also aim to provide a unique customer experience. We love to communicate closely with our customers and understand what they want in their product. Our goods are hand made and made to order which means that the outcome of every product is completely different to suit every customers wants.
We also love to create an experience when a customer receives their products. Each package is hand packed by us and branded with our custid packaging & cards. These were designed by us to not only humour our customers but also make our brand name memorable.
